Family & Lifestyle Portraits

Oh hey again! It's me, Karlee! A photographer who thrives on capturing the moments that make life feel alive—from the joy of new beginnings to the sweet nostalgia of saying goodbye to a chapter. Whether you’re wrapping up your high school journey or stepping into a new season, I’m here to document it all. Through vibrant, authentic imagery, I strive to capture the heart of each moment, telling your story in a way that’s as genuine as you are! I can't wait to see where our chapter together takes us.
Parenthood is filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to help you capture and keep them vivid.
I was born and raised (+ stayed) in eastern Iowa. My husband and I met in high school and we now live in his tiny little hometown north of Cedar Rapids where we raise our son and daughter.
We stay very busy these days with sports and all the things. We love staying active by playing sports as a family - we tend to spend a lot of time at the baseball field! My son plays baseball, basketball, football and wrestling. My daughter does gymnastics, dance and softball. To say we stay busy all year long is an understatement, but we wouldn't want it any other way!
I started my photography journey early on and took many different photography classes during high school. I spent a lot of my time (whether that was classes or free time) in the art room and always had my digital camera on hand! I then went on to receive my associates degree in Graphic Design from Kirkwood Community College while also taking digital and film photography classes. In 2016 I started my photography career by editing and eventually shooting weddings, families & newborns for Ivory+Bliss. In 2023, once both of my kids were in school full time, I decided to start my own photography business where I specialize in lifestyle families + newborn photography.
